It's almost that time of year again: Pi Day is coming up! Together with the Bernoulli Institute, Cover is organising a morning all about everyone's favourite irrational number. So whether you are into maths, curious to learn something new, or mostly here for the pie, there is something for everyone.
This year, we are celebrating Pi Day a little early, so join us on Friday, March 13th at 09:30 in BB 5161.0105 for a cosy morning with maths, good company, and of course something sweet.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
09:15 - 09:40: Walk in
09:40 - 10:30: Short intro lecture about π
10:30 - 11:00: Pie break and puzzles regarding Pi
11:00 - 12:00: Surprise mini-lectures about π by students
