Employing 650 IT professionals, Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO) is an IT-driven organization. DUO has its own software house where hundreds of custom-made applications are built. These applications could be for payments of student grants, organizing civic integration examinations, funding educational institutions, or tasks relating to the final exam taken by students completing their primary education (CITO).

To start the day, you will get to go on the roof of the Kempkensberg, one of the most iconic buildings in Groningen. You'll be able to enjoy a 360-degree of Groningen and its surroundings.
Interactive talks
Once you've recovered from the breathtaking view, the real fun begins.
There will be 3 different interactive talks with DUO colleagues from various CS and AI disciplines, from Requirement Engineering to Operations Engineering. This will be a great occasion to learn about stuff you can do after your studies, as well as discuss with professionals who have been in the field for years.
Borrel
To close the day, enjoy a nice borrel with some pizza, ask the questions you've always wanted to ask to professionals, network with the people who make sure you get money every month, and have some fun!
